At your initial appointment, we will ask you to fill out an electronic medical history form and we will review your medical and dental history. Dr. MacKenzie will carefully examine your teeth, your jaw and your bite as well as the lips and jaw profile. We will take digital pictures and digital x-rays (if needed). Dr. MacKenzie will show you all the photos and x-rays and will give you a variety of options for orthodontic treatment.
Every patient in our clinic is given the options for Invisalign or braces.

We will present all the financial information, discuss insurance billing, and offer you affordable payment plans. When you leave the free consult, all your questions should be answered.
The follow-up monitoring visits are very important.
Not every child is ready for orthodontic treatment immediately. If your child is young, and the treatment is growth-dependent, or if there is dental work required, we will schedule a follow up appointment, so that Dr. MacKenzie can continue to monitor the growth of your child and can advise you on the best time to begin orthodontic treatment. The monitoring visits are free, and are very important, because they will allow Dr. MacKenzie to monitor the development of the adult teeth, and the growth of the jaws. She will advise you of the best time to begin orthodontic treatment.
