All children need an orthodontic consult by age 8. The appointment is easy and comfortable, and not every child needs treatment at this age. During the orthodontic screening appointment, Dr. MacKenzie will examine the teeth and jaws and will take photos and an x-ray. The x-ray will show all the erupting adult teeth as well as the baby teeth.
