A Diamond Invisalign provider and four-time finalist, she teaches Invisalign techniques, is a member of several dental associations, and an assistant professor at Dalhousie University. She lives in Quispamsis with her family.
Full BioWith over 8 years of orthodontic experience, Candace joined MacKenzie Orthodontics in June 2024 and quickly became a friendly and familiar face for new patients. As Treatment Coordinator, she walks patients through every step of their orthodontic journey from exploring treatment options to discussing insurance and payment plans with clarity, compassion, and a smile. Candace’s upbeat personality and eye for detail help create a welcoming and stress-free experience at every visit.
Ashley brings a dynamic mix of experience and energy to her role as Clinic & Scheduling Coordinator, which she took on in 2025. Before joining MacKenzie Orthodontics, she owned a restaurant in Uptown Saint John and worked in both automotive sales and insurance claims management. With strong time management and customer service skills, Ashley keeps the clinic running smoothly behind the scenes. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and their three children Jordan, Gavin, and Kaiya.
Cathy joined MacKenzie Orthodontics as our Financial Coordinator, bringing strong organizational skills and a friendly, approachable nature to the team. She is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and confident when it comes to the financial side of their treatment, from navigating payment options to answering insurance questions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Brittany has been helping patients feel confident in their smiles since joining the orthodontic field in 2013. She became part of the MacKenzie Orthodontics team in 2014, bringing a deep passion for patient care and a decade of experience. After earning her Dental Assisting diploma from Oulton College, she completed her Orthodontic Module at Holland College. Brittany thrives on the rewarding nature of orthodontics and the personal connections she builds along the way. Outside of work, she loves camping, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Lauren has been with MacKenzie Orthodontics since March 2015. After graduating from Hampton High School, she pursued Dental Assisting at Oulton College and later completed her Orthodontic Assistant diploma in 2016. Lauren works closely with patients during adjustments and is highly skilled in digital scanning and chairside support. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys camping and creating special moments with her family.
Nicole is our Dental Hygienist and a recent graduate of Canadore College in North Bay, Ontario, where she completed her Dental Hygiene program in May 2026. As a quick learner with a positive attitude, Nicole brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong commitment to patient care to our team. She thrives in new environments, embraces opportunities to learn, and is always eager to expand her knowledge and skills. Her curiosity, adaptability, and warm personality make her a wonderful addition to our practice. We are excited to watch her grow in the field of orthodontics and are confident that her positive outlook and dedication will take her far in her career.
Alisha is an experienced Dental Assistant with approximately 10 years of orthodontic experience.
