Here are the types of bites that can be corrected:
- overjet (aka. overbite, protruded teeth)
- deep bite where the upper teeth overlap the lower teeth too much
- underbite where the lower teeth are in front of the upper teeth
- crossbite where the upper teeth fit on the inside of the lower teeth
- crowding: not enough space for all the teeth
- spacing: large gaps between the teeth
- missing teeth where teeth have been extracted or are congenitally missing
- impacted teeth that are stuck under the gums
- bites that require surgical correction
